To celebrate German Unity Day, Gunther Schumann created the installation “Let’s talk” at the State Art Museum Moritzburg. The artwork represents several social groups with different communication attitudes. When walking around the sculpture, it is revealed that each figure is shown twice. This creates different encounter situations. With this sculpture, the artist comments on the current public political discourse, which is becoming increasingly polemical and aggressive in Germany.
